  • Varsity Donuts

    Donuts

Ok, the first thing we do: hit Varsity donuts and grab a donut (or three!) as we make our way over to Bluestem Bistro for some amazing coffee. These donuts will blow your mind. Crafted with cool themes and names (Flat tire, Mr and Mrs K-Stater, well, you get the point). My favorite? The boyscout!

  • Bluestem Bistro

    Coffee Shop

This spot makes several of my lists, but it's the number two stop on our Saturday's in Manhattan list. After Bluestem, we're off (and just across the street) to the Dusty Bookshelf!

  • The Dusty Bookshelf

    Bookstore

The Duty bookshelf is just what it sounds like. A fun, second, third, fourth-hand bookstore. No matter how many hands the books have passed through, they curate a wonderful array of books from all genres and walks of life. They also have a cool coffee bar inside.

  • Museum of Art + Light

    Art Museum

The Museum of Art and + Light is a must try spot. The art is truly world-class. Even if you're not necessarily an art guru, there are interactive exhibits and collections that will blow your mind. Check this place out!

  • City Park Manhattan Kansas

  • Furnish

    Home Goods Store

After some time at City Park, I recommend you hit the downtown area of Poyntz Ave and hit the most amazing interior design/decor shop you'll find! Furnish has the most unique, tailor made furnishings, and home decor elements - including a "husband/boyfriend" bar accessory section that will knock your socks off! Furnish is a one-of-a-kind DON"T MISS store.

  • Bootsie's

Finish your amazing with a Bootsie's patio dinner! Between their fresh made pizzas, Po-zo's (sandwiches made with their fresh pizza dough), killer apps and other delightful culinary concoctions, you will not be disappointed!

  • Bourbon & Baker

    Bakery

I also wanted to make sure my second fav makes this list as an alternate to Bootsie's. B&B has a mind-blowingly good menu of small plates and cocktail choices. Don't mind the loud environment, it's part of the amazing experience and one-of-a-kind culinary experiences in the Little Apple.
