Based in Dallas, Texas, Jeff founded UrbanFavs to solve a problem that almost everyone experiences: the places we love are easy to remember, but surprisingly difficult to organize and share.

Jeff didn't want to create another review site filled with ratings, criticism, anonymous opinions, and endless noise. He envisioned something simpler, warmer, and more useful — a place where people could create lists of the places they genuinely love, save recommendations from people they trust, and share those favorites whenever someone needs them.

Because UrbanFavs is not really about places on a map.

It is about the places that become your places.

The spots you return to. The ones you recommend without hesitation. The ones that make the night better, the trip richer, the conversation easier, and the memory stronger.

From an idea to something real

Jeff knew the problem that needed to be solved — and he had a clear vision for how technology could solve it. He also knew he needed the right person to help bring that vision to life.

Enter Andrew Mast, an exceptionally talented developer based in Nashville, Tennessee. Andrew joined UrbanFavs as co-founder and lead developer, combining Jeff’s product vision with the technical skill, creativity, and persistence required to turn an idea into a working platform.

Together, Jeff and Andrew are building UrbanFavs around one simple belief:
